This is a rad tool to have kids take ownership of their work and get excited about sharing it with others.

  1. It truly is so RAD that there are these platforms out there! Not only for us as future educators but for students to utilize and get excited about. They are so immersed in technology in their everyday life so it is foolish for us not to do anything involving it during their school day. I am looking forward to getting my students to write during the ELA block and posting it on #comments4kids.

Students now can have their pictures or captions seen by hundreds if not thousands of people. One thing we definitely do not have to force them to do is work on making those pictures or captions look good. The same could apply to using a platform such as blogging and then twitter to broadcast it. Once students know that there are people from all over who will see what they are working on they will be delighted to take ownership.
