--Equity conversation--
I really like the idea of letting kids use their technology in and outside the classroom. Since they are digital natives, they have grown up with and using technology. They were always surrounded with social networks and having technology at their fingertips, so why not let them use something they know. To take this away from them would be devastating. That is their social world. Their connection to their friends, family and community. Technology is a HUGE WAY for people to stay connected. We need to keep it in the classroom and embrace it. It is a huge tool that I know educators forget about and can make our student's learning so much easier.
I found a really good article about cell phones in the classroom. "As long as we treat students like responsible adults and invest energy in fostering responsible behavior, we can not only accept cell phones in schools, but also use them for learning." (Pahomov, 2015)
