When it came to twitter, I struggled to even locate the blogs in order to comment on them. Some of the links had several boxes within the link. Now, after a little bit of Jeff's help, I realize that those are all blogs inside the blog link. It was a layered affect. All I needed to do was to select a box, and that would open up one person's blog.
From doing the in class exercises, it made me want to look up more positive perspectives on technology. In the link below, Danny Mareco wrote an article, on July 28th, 2017, about ten advantages of having technology in the classroom. I found Danny's points enhanced the concepts we learned today in class. He wrote that using technology helps prepare students for future careers. Also, he explained that using technology allows students to collaborate in a way they may not have before or to collaborate in general. Furthermore, just as we talk about in class, technology usage in the classroom can help students to get a digital footprint, it can be used to enhance the learning environment, and can be used to incorporate all styles of learning.
I am very thankful to be taking this course because I have never had a perspective that views technology in the way we are approaching it. Ironically, going to get my degree in engineering, we had a class that swung the opposite way on the harms of technology. I greatly appreciate seeing the other side of the argument.

All social media's are formatted differently and have their own learning curve. As a Zennial (millennial and gen z cusp), there are things about social media that even I still have to learn, but it's awesome that we all have this opportunity to deep dive into what technology and social media have to offer and help each other learn as we go! I also found today's course's perspective on technology use really refreshing, and probably more practical than what I've always been taught in terms of social media use as a teacher. I've always been told its best not to have a social media at all and to just stay out of the internet public eye, but the point brought up in class that not having one could be more detrimental than having a social media account in our name was really eye opening. With technology advancing and being integrated into more and more aspects of every day life at a pace that's quicker than i think many of us can fully register, I think its important to start having students to learn the ropes in the class room to prepare them for fields that may require proficiency in upcoming new technologies.
