connecting for competition
One way I think I'll use connectivism is to apply it to a competitive setting. Either just between school districts, classes or throughout the nation or the world. What comes to mind would be grade specific competitions, such as the 7th grader who can do the most pull ups or hang from the bar for the longest. Even more complex, I could have students track their progress on a certain movement, say push-ups, at the start of the year they give their max push-up count and then they test again at the end of the year, whoever improves the most would be the winner and we could compete globally with other schools who have students of the same age!
