SAMR in educating behaviour and skill

Ok so you know how there are many instances that students and parents believe that they and their child are the best at something? Perfect, me too. So, i will be using lots of technological advances to demonstrate how awful (not always) that this child may be; behaviour wise and skill wise. I am sick and tired of parents telling me that their little darling is the best in the world at what he or she does... THEY ARE NOT. Also, i forgot that the parent was the actual professional here, excuse me for my ignorance. Back home, i use video technology a lot to assess, reflect, observe and demonstrate parts of a player or teams performance. The same idea will be used within the classroom and P.E setting as a whole. I am a firm believer that if poor skills can be compared and understood, then further development can take place upon that realisation, that's if they're not of a fixed mind of course!

This ties into the augmentation and modification of discipline and coaching that is already used today, with just a little twist on the understanding and sharing of such evidence to parties involved. This is also a way to share skill development opportunities with parents and students; potentially doing so as a way to identify what "homework" the student needs to do i.e. practice the skill in the garden!

Thoughts?
