WOW!!! I Thought I Was Behind The Times Before

I really enjoyed the lecture about how the children's brains are "wired" and how they are thinking today. The little things that we as adults have taken for granted all these years are sometimes not understandable to the kids because of the difference in the environments we were raised in. We as teachers need to know and understand these differences so that we can connect to the students. As for what we learned about Wikipedia and Google, the tips and shortcuts along with the knowledge of how to trust the information we find will be very helpful to me as well as my future students in the coming years.

  1. Isn't this amazing?! Something so small can open up millions of doors for us to explore. This is something that we can pass onto our students. It easy to take things for granted, I agree. Now that we realize that, we will be able to incorporate these things into our classroom not only to make us better teachers, but to help better our students!
