Redefinition
The concept of redefinition is very exciting to implement in the classroom. I think it is important to update the technology in our classrooms to keep up with the developing technology in the world. In order to connect with students, you have to meet them where they are. This includes their knowledge about technology. Kids are now born with an ipad in their hands and can get bored very easily if we are using the same old technology in the classroom that has always been used. It is crucial to keep the kids excited by updating the technology in our classroom and keeping up with the times.

I'm just glad that we have been introduced to some of the current tools! It's definitely going to be hard to keep up with the changing technology unless we are attentive to the changes that are happening around us. I know that I'm worried I won't be able to keep up! I know that even now I am struggling with keeping up with the tech, as evidenced by how astounded I was by wikipedia. As teachers we are going to have to work hard together and follow the tech changes that are students are experiencing. So excited to help bring this to the classroom.
