I enjoyed being taught how to narrow our searches on google. I think that can be a very valuable lesson for students to learn in today's school system. Being able to narrow down searching so that students can look at information by country or by other specific searching preferences could help students get the best information possible.
I loved the idea of using google docs as a classroom note taking device. Google docs could be very beneficial in the classroom setting for doing homework and other assignments. I am a big fan of students working together and google docs can be a good way for them to work together even when they can't be at the same place. Being able to site straight from google to google docs is an awesome tool for students to use. I wish i would of known about that when i was in high school and undergrad. Being able to automatically site information is helpful so that students don't plagiarize any information and it also helps them learn how to properly cite information.
I too enjoyed being able to narrow down search results, it can be a very powerful tool in the classroom. Often times students have trouble finding the information they need. Using this refined system makes it easier to access relevant information. My students will definitely be learning this!
