The (Technological) Limit Does Not Exist

My brain hurts after today's lesson, but I love that there are so many uses of technology that can be applied in the classroom!

Technology can be so interactive and educational as long as it is managed. Today's lesson brought me so many different platforms that I can use in my own classroom and I am very excited to implement them.

I use YouTube for everything. I study with it, look up all kinds of tutorials on it, and I just use it for entertaining, funny videos. So why couldn't I use it in the classroom?! I was very excited to hear that it is a great tool to use in the classroom and that students can totally be graded on standards through posting videos.

Google is such a HUGE part of my life; I literally use Google search a hundred times a day. I never knew the tips for searching Google. The "site:" hack would have made my life so much easier if I had known about it in the past! I will be sure to use this in my classroom to show kids how useful it can be when researching for papers. I want my students to know how and where to find non-bias, credible sources for their information, especially after hearing 65% of people get their information off social media. That number is way higher than I thought.

Let's not forget the 4 Jobs of the Future. These skills are of the utmost importance even without the use of technology so I think it makes sense that, in this day and age, the technology applied to these skills has a greater necessity in the workforce than ever before.
