Video Learning! Is it effective?

     Hey everyone! It should come as a surprise to no one that with technology being so prevalent in 2022, that it has become an integral part of education today. More specifically, the use of video teaching and learning in the classroom has been a great tool to increase student learning, and I'll help you guys learn how! I'll do this by going over

1. Interactivity

    One way that educators can enhance the online learning experience is through adding interactive bits to the online learning content. This may look like adding links to pieces of text that the students can click on, or adding different segments where students are given a chance to type in an answer and see if they are correct or incorrect. This interactive portion of learning helps students stay engaged for a longer period of time, and let's them feel as though they are though they are truly a part of the learning experience

2. VISUALS!!!!!

    It comes to no surprise that it is very important to use visuals in learning, especially through video learning and teaching. With students and individuals constantly interacting with visuals with social media in today's world, it only makes sense that using visuals in learning will help students understand content. 

Student learning through online videos and online teaching is something that will just continue to happen as we exit the COVID stage of time, as we've seen how effective (and possibly ineffective) it can be. As teachers, we must be prepared to implement this into our teaching, and I hope my blog post helped!
