For years I have viewed Wikipedia
as an unreliable source, but today that all changed. I even took a step back to ask myself why I
was so quick to discard Wikipedia and trust the content of other sites without
question. Learning how to check the
validity of Wikipedia’s content was a big “ah-ha” moment and good lesson on
accountability. I can use this tool as a
teachable moment and encourage my students to think critically and dive deeper
into their work and online interactions. I am excited to learn more!
