Seeing a new perspective

We live in a world that with a click of a button we are able to get an answer to our questions. Google does more than just a one word or phrase search and clicking on the first item that pops up onto the screen.  As a future teacher, we need to learn to teach children the best way to navigate google to come up with more accurate answers. This can be done by a refined search of the topic. I like the ability to teach the different perspectives of different countries and states. I did not know how to navigate the endings of a site and only get those sites. I look forward to bringing google search of different governments and countries to show students different perspectives and what thoughts there are about a topic in the world. With the click of a button now you can even look at old newspapers. This is brand new to me and it would have been helpful for me in my own studies. I will be using this in the classroom to build students’ understanding of what has happened and where we are today. After looking at the newspaper students can get a perspective and then google other perspectives. Throughout this morning I was given different perspectives of how to use search engines in my classroom.
