Twitter, a social media platform that is used for people to post anything they want (within reason). That is all twitter has been to me since it has become a popular social media platform. Never did I ever think social media would be used as a way for teachers to communicate with other teachers from all over. Being able to communicate, collaborate, and gain ideas form teachers all over gives me as a teacher the opportunity to gain other perspectives that I may have never thought of. Social media is a fast, effective, and public way to learn from others. I only thought that social media was a way to post pictures, and gain followers. Social media is a new way for teachers, businesses, and anyone who is interested to communicate and share ideas with one another.

I also never imagined social media being an awesome tool for teachers. Its definitely a great way to share and gather ideas from all around the world. This class has changed my perspective of social media.
