Final Reflection

If we as educators truly want to change what learning looks like in the classroom, we need to make sure that we figure out what is best for the students. If we do that, then everything else will come into place. One of the major problems for education in the last couple hundred years is a look back to the past and deciding that the status quo should be what is best for the students, merely because it is what has always been done. We as teachers must look into the classroom and decide what do we have available to us that could help increase the learning that we give to our students? If we are able to make the necessary adjustments mentally to put our students first, then the classroom can be a place of learning and growing, instead of stagnant boredom.
