Generational fun

 Something that I found really important was the point that we need to understand the generation of our students and the generation of their guardians. Parents and guardians can make or break your classroom and you want to make sure that they respect your choices. One way you can do this is to make sure that respect goes both ways. If you show respect to the students' guardians, then it is more likely that you will have guardians' support. 

I also think that it is important to understand how your students communicate socially so you can use it in your own teaching. It makes it easier because then you don't have to create your own path instead you can use a pathway that was already cut out.
